A little about this portal page 

This page takes the European Union global strategy for foreign and security policy as a point of departure for briefings from different perspectives on strategy in the EU and in Europe. The objective is  for you as a user to be able to start the discussion from your particular perspective and then widen to see other perspectives and other contexts.  The briefings build on  the strategy itself,  in terms of structure compatible with my Handbook on EU and security  with all the case studies in this website. More specifically a number of short briefings on specific issues have been developed here.  Check out the menu for specific strategy briefings below - growing regularly.

A strategy for  implementation

A strategy for what? Well some would argue: as a minimum for those set to implement policy. So this is what these pages will focus on.  They are based on the fundamental assumption that implementation is based on cooperation and a sense of ownership well beyond one single hierarchy.
